Maple Wood

Maple wood leans towards a creamy white to a light tan color. The wood has a close fine, uniform texture and is generally straight-grained. We use a special sealer on the maple frames but no stain. Maple is a dense wood and is slightly heavier than the other woods we use. Several of the boards shown below are the chouette style board. The storage area for the cubes is larger and there is a built in dice rack in the checker storage area.
